Yesterday I attended a little food fair in Barnes where delicious cheeses, meats and cakes were on display. Some of the cakes and pies were mouth wateringly good and with winter on its way (not that you’d know it with these warm temperatures) serve up a treat and opt for a dessert bar of blueberry, apple, pecan or even pumpkin pie which is the perfect accompaniment to a rustic autumn wedding.

a rustic vase…

Who says you need to put your flowers into vases as this beautiful display on bridal snob shows you. Simply use balls of twine, like a rough woven thread for the perfect rustic alternative to a vase. You could even change up the colour for a more fun take on this to complement your flowers but I love this one as it is so simple yet so effective. I’d suggest clustering a couple together for each table and make sure you keep a mix of short and tall flowers to get a bit of height in your display – perfect for a country style wedding!
